Young actor Aadhi injured on the sets of ‘Aravaan’, a film directed by Vasanthabalan, while performing a risky stunt sequence. The incident took place at Melur near Madurai a couple of days ago. According to sources, it was a scene in which the protagonist had to jump over a five feet palm tree. The actor, who refused a body double to perform on behalf on him, insisted that he himself would do it.

After the director gave his nod, Aadhi started doing the action sequence but fell on the tree in no time. He developed injuries on his hands and other parts of the body with blood oozing non-stop.

The actor was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital by the film’s team. After first-aid, he was advised a week’s rest by the doctors, following which the shoot of the movie produced by T Siva’s Amma Creations has been cancelled.
